Well, that is basically a brief introduction of me. So okay, I don't exactly endorse the products stated above. But hey, I sure know how to make it look as though I am. It never hurts to dream big. maybe one day when my drumming is good enough, my dream of endorsing these products will just come true. We just never know. I'll take this opportunity to thank everyone that has help me in my drumming: GOD, My parents, my brothers Rudy ( the guy responsible for getting me involved in drumming at the first place) & Andy, Quelista Cheah (Ellie), Michael Tan, Bill Cohen, my band, & to everyone that has given me the motivation for playing & to keep on playing. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Let's get down to the facts about me. I've been drumming for 6 years, I know most of you superb drummers out there started really young. So I started drumming kind of late. Never mind, that only means I have to spend more practice time on drumming. I got my 1st drumset on my 16th birthday & took drum lessons for 1 & a half years. Due to the financial problems encountered by me, I had to stop taking lessons. My favorite drummers are Josh freesh, Manu Katche, Dennis Chambers, Terry Bozzio, Adrian Young, Taylor Hawkins, Stewart Copeland, Travis Barker, Anton Fig & the list goes on non-stop. So I guess I better stop now. Basically I listen to all types of music but my favorite bands are the Foo Fighters, Incubus, Blink 182, No Doubt, A perfect Circle & those kind of genres.

Now I'll tell you the stories about my bands. In 1996, I started to play in a band. It was a 3 piece band & was called SKIRMISH. It had Led on guitar, Radzeef on bass & me on drums. We played stuff from Nirvana to Green Day. What are you laughing at? It was happening at that time okay! Anyway, the band was really horrible in musical sense & I, the drummer was to take the blame for that. As you all know, the drummer's role is to keep rock solid time, but I just couldn't do that at that time & it was actually like this. My brother could play drums, so I thought that I could play too, sort of like a family genes that would be pass from one to another. But boy, was I wrong. I couldn't play at all. I remembered going in to the jamming studio with  my band & my friends band. At that time, I was the first to run to the drumset, y'know being a beginner & seeing a real drumset was like, whoa, Yeah!! However at the middle to the end of that jamming session, I ended up sitting on the amplifiers instead of the drumset & I watched my friends band play. The reason being I couldn't play for nuts. The band broke up soon after that because the guitarist & bassist had a fight. I was the innocent drummer who couldn't play drums & imagine this, I called myself a drummer at that time.

Radzeef, the bassist from the previous band SKIRMISH decided to form another band with me. This time it was a 4 piece band & it had Ariff & Goo on guitars, Radzeef on bass & me on drums. Again, we played Nirvana. But I could see I was improving on my drumming. That was cool. At least now, I can play some songs. Then, it had to happen. Radzeef had to go to the U.K. to pursue his studies. Yeah, the band broke up again.

Being bandless for a while left me really bored.Guess what? I found an ad in the papers saying they need a drummer to play in a ska band. I just gave this guy, Benjamin a call. We jammed & it went quite okay. He knew this girl name Vivien & she's a really talented vocalist. Now, with her in the band, the band was definitely much better than the 2 previous band I played in. My drumming had improved & I was more confident with my drumming. So the band had Vivien on vocals, Ben & Boon on guitars, Firdaus on bass, Dino on drums. This is my favorite band & I had a lot of fun doing all the shows with them. Too bad Boon had to leave the band & had to pursue his studies in Singapore. Tough luck. Well, I'm still looking forward for more performances with Vivien.

Then, there was this other band I played in. We did a few shows show together. It had Derek & Nat on guitar, Justin on vocals & keyboards, Sheikh Hafeez on bass & Dino on drums. The band name wasn't official but it was known only as RUNAWAY but then it got changed to FULLCYCLE. Yeah, it's really fun playing with other people. It helps develop musical growth.

I also played in a band called The AFTERGLOW. It's quite a fun band to be in. The band consist of Roen & Arif (Slobby) on the guitar & vocals, Harris on bass, & again me on drums. The band broke up because of different musical interest.

Currently, I'm playing with my band called Frequency Cannon Make sure you check out my latest band! Make sure you tell Frequency Cannon you visited! Yeah!

Oh yeah, if you have any comments or questions, don't hesitate to drop me a line & sign my guestbook. It would be greatly appreciated.
